Use a marker or stamp enamel to mark the desired location of the hole.
Step 2
Line up the screw punch with the mark on the stamping blank.
Step 3
Turn the handle of the screw punch until the punch lightly touches the surface of the blank. If needed, reposition the stamping blank so the mark on the blank lines up with the punch.

Step 4
Once the punch and the mark are aligned, simply turn the handle of the screw down punch until the screw punch pierces through the stamping blank, leaving a clean crisp hole. Slight pressure will be felt prior to the punch piercing through the blank.
Note: Make sure not to screw the punch down too much as this will mar the surface of the blank and leave an unwanted impression of the base of the screw.
Step 5
Twist the handle of the screw down punch in the opposite direction to raise the screw punch and remove blank.
Step 6
Wipe off any remaining marks with a paper towel. A rubbing alcohol pad or rubbing alcohol on a paper towel may be used to remove the marks.
